No separate statutory motor insurance is required for vehicles of government offices and agencies because the State Treasury pays compensation for traffic accidents caused by vehicles owned/held by government offices and agencies as if the government had issued motor insurance.
If a traffic accident has a counterparty, call the police. The general emergency number is 112. If you need a tow truck, call ALD Road Service (tel. +358 800 9 0909). The party causing the traffic accident will prepare an accident report for their insurance company.
Compulsory motor insurance for vehicles of organisations other than government offices and agencies must be taken out from other than the State Treasury, such as Folksam. If you do not know whether or not you are within the scope of the compensation scheme of the State Treasury, contact the State Treasury, for example.

Incar Oy, a damage repair party approved by ALD Automotive and insurance companies, maintains the electronic accident report service.
